Bob Buss, (Alan Blumenfield), a veteran music producer is managing the hottest boy band around, Whoa!, for Stuff Records. Enter NOEL DAVIES, a young hotshot executive at Stuff who thinks he knows best. Opposed to all of Buss' ideas, Noel heartlessly fires him. It looks like Buss' long-standing music career is over…until a fortuitous twist of fate occurs when Buss heard dreamy JERRY O'KEEFE (Evan Farmer) singing in a Boston parking lot.

With a bit of coaxing, Buss convinces Jerry to accompany him to New York to meet with a concert promoter who guaranteed Buss an opening spot in an upcoming Whoa! Show in Jacksonville, Florida - but not as a solo. Buss has six days to put together another boy band using Jerry as the leading man.

What ensues is a comically frantic and exhaustive cross-country search for the fail-safe formula to bring teenage girls to their knees and uproot Whoa! as the MTV darlings of the moment. From the male beauty pageants, parks and karaoke bars, Buss eventually assembles the five key ingredients to every boy band:"the heart throb"Jerry O'Keefe, "the rebel" Mickey Parke (Alex Solowitz), "the cutie" JASON QT McKNIGHT (Michael Cuccione), "the shy one" CHAD LINUS (Noah Bastian) and "the older brother" DOUG LINUS (Kevin Farley).

With all the pieces in place, Buss is faced with the monumental task of transforming the 2gether crew from five inexperienced boys into a polished teen dream machine. The band gets down to business with some serious lessons in singing, dancing and publicity skills. It's now time for the first public gig set up by Buss as a practice performance. The show is a huge flop. Frustrated Jerry takes off and heads home. It's over! The other decide that they can't go on with out him…looks like the gig's up.

That is until they have a chance encounter with Whoa! at a gas station. Taking it as a powerful sign, 2gether decides to carry on without Jerry. When they arrive for their show in Jacksonville, they are ridiculed. Their performance was never booked; there will be no 2gether concert. Meanwhile, Jerry returns unexpectedly with Erin. There has to be a way for the show to go on. While the lip-synching Whoa! is performing, Erin sneaks into the second booth and 'accidentally' stops the cassette leaving the talent-less band frozen in front of thousands of booing fans. 2gether jump on stage and grab the spotlight with style, talent and all the right moves.
